We’re not afraid to challenge the status quo, and it’s because of this attitude that we’ve uncovered a great deal of opportunity for budding ideas. Akavit Labs was formed to provide an outlet of creativity and pure, unadulterated innovation. Sometimes we work on our own ideas, other times we help our clients realize theirs. Either way, it’s a three-part process. (1) We take a new idea and validate it. If it passes the test, we move on to (2) thinking, creating, developing, building, enhancing, designing, and transforming the idea into its most viable self. And then (3), we release the idea into the world as an operational product, offering, or new business venture.

Radius130 is our cracker-jack team of dedicated digital support ninjas, who are focused on quick-turn missions. They are trained in problem solving methods. They are equipped with the best issue tracking weaponry, which they are not afraid to use. And, most of all, they are acutely focused on their task, and are trained to think of nothing else. The ultimate Digital Lifecycle Management© help desk has arrived.
Sure, people race for the physical challenge and to experience a pure adrenaline rush. But oftentimes, running a race is a way to honor someone who has touched your life. Motivated by the enthusiasm of Boulder entrepreneur Alexandre Garrett and her passion for making a difference in the world, Akavit helped envision and create the HonorBib website and custom product builder application.
From selecting a material (Tyvek® or seed paper) and choosing a template to adding personal photos and inscriptions, the HonorBib builder tool gives users the opportunity to create their unique racing bib through a streamlined digital process. A portion of all sales goes to charity, and many world-famous foundations are using the system to build additional momentum in their campaigns. See more on this project in our Work section.
There’s some pretty rad stuff going on when the doors are closed and the blinds are drawn at Akavit. One of our projects has become a staple in the offices of top NFL teams while another is used to supplement the features of a widely used project management software brand. A different project was used by leading consumer brands and media outlets for promotion-based campaigns, while yet another has been used by a global CPG leader in consumer products in pharmaceuticals, cleaning supplies, personal care and pet supplies.
